Surface Coatings vs Gridshield;   

COST : Gridshield is 35% to 65% less than painting or plating. The process is completed at the press – No secondary Operations.

Surface coating requires many operations which can produce a number of quality and cost problems. Not to mention the lower shielding effectiveness. Gridshield Effectiveness- .001 Ohms point to point , a Faraday Cage.

Our GridSFtm patent pending,This process uses a heavy gage wire mesh (up to .024" dia.) high strength steel - when molded with a high strength resin produces a very unique product , with extreme properties.
Material Selection :

All engineering grades of resins can be used- Including material with Exceptional strength and stiffness up to 275oC (575oF).


Tooling & Manufacturing Cost:

Save between 35% -50% over sheet metal tooling - 50% of Die Castings.

Cost effective Design Flexibility provides many opportuinities to design in functions and remove a number of parts from the assembly.

15 years of development and testing - over 300 various products- Every Type of Mold and materials were sampled . First introduced in 1998 and presented to the IEEE and Plastic News 1999 - 2000 - . Over the years of development and proving the production process, we are the only people who have Total understanding of not only the simple part of the process , which is Insert molding but each and every important design detail required to produce an Effective shielded Enclosure . These Details include , product to mold design providing an effective grounding and EMC sealing system- the development of wire technology and proven methods of TOTAL CONTROL of the Mesh Location. Our Process Engineering assures the Mesh will not migrate to various surfaces . Simply put , We know every detail and we have years of proven Design & process success (and many failures) to back it up.
